ChordStar is developed by Anchor Apps LLC.
ChordStar is a guitar chord and practice app. This version stores practice-related information locally on your device. It does not require an account and does not send practice data to Anchor Apps LLC.
Information stored on your device may include:
• Saved favorite chords
• Recently viewed chords
• Chord viewing history
• App settings
• Practice timer/progress data
• Missed-chord review lists
• Last drill or progression summaries
This information is used only to provide app features such as favorites, recent chords, practice tracking, and missed-chord review.
This version of ChordStar does not transmit your practice data, favorites, chord history, settings, or practice progress to Anchor Apps LLC.
ChordStar does not require user accounts in this version.
ChordStar includes optional Backup Practice Data and Restore Practice Data features. Backup Practice Data creates user-controlled JSON backup text only when you choose to create it. Restore Practice Data reads backup text only when you choose to restore it. You control whether backup text is copied, saved, deleted, or shared outside the app.
This version does not include advertising, hidden analytics, external crash reporting, subscriptions, in-app purchases, account login, cloud sync, or third-party tracking.
If analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, account features, advertising, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are added in a future version, this privacy policy and the Google Play Data safety section will be updated before release.
Data deletion:
Because this version stores data locally on your device, you can delete ChordStar app data by clearing ChordStar’s app storage in Android settings or uninstalling the app. Any backup text or backup files that you create must be deleted from wherever you saved them.
